***Setting***
<Erik> SCENE> WUNDAGORE. THE SCHOOL FOR THE GIFTED. YOU'RE ALL THERE IN VARIOUS CAPACITIES, IT'S BEEN A FEW DAYS SINCE MOST OF YOU ARRIVED, AND YOU MAY NOT KNOW ALL THE OTHERS YET. 3 PM, ON A SUNDAY.

<Logan> ::outside of the castle, perhaps in the mist filled valley, hacking a felled tree into logs for the fire with his claws, dressed in a pair of ragged old jeans with a plaid lumberjack shirt carelessly tossed aside where it lies in the grass absorbing the morning dew::
<Barry> ::sits in the room that resembles a living room, in the middle of his copy of War and Peace::
<Kurt> ::in the kitchen, in the process of closing the refrigerator door, his tail securely wrapped around a can of soda::
<Emma`> ::Walks down the near empty hallways with stoic look on her features, still in judgment of her new home.::
<Erik> ::sweeps out of his office, a metal clipboard trailing along behind him forlornly, pausing in the grand entrance hall to cast a critical glance around::
<Reynard> ::exits his room and wanders down a random hallway making his own mental map of the place as he goes along, humming a little to himself::
<Emma`> ((Gray and dreary. Certainly needs a woman's touch.))
<Barry> ::continues reading his book, looking like he's rather enjoying it::
<Kurt> ::slowly wanders out of the kitchen, taking a brief glance down the hall before sipping his drink::
<Erik> ::turns down a side hallway, seeing Emma:: Ah. Miss Frost. I trust your quarters are to your liking. ::despite the wording, his tone seems rather like he's making a statement, not asking a question::
<Logan> ((It's peaceful here, why's he gotta ruin it by filling the place up with kids?)) ::tosses a log into the air and fluidly quadrisects it into smaller equally sized pieces that rain down in a pile of similarly sized pieced near by with an explosion of sawdust::
<Emma`> ::The echo of her footsteps stop and she stares at Lensherr quietly before responding.:: No. But a beggar cannot be a chooser, now can she? I would like to be reassured that the heating will be functional in the winter months.
<Logan> ((If there's really a war coming, they'll just get in the way.))
<Reynard> ::heads towards the kitchen to get himself a drink, or at least in the direction he thinks the kitchen <Erik> ::raises a brow:: ..Yes, I should think so. ::pen floating near the clipboard seems to be scribbling something by itself:: Have you familiarized yourself with the grounds, yet?
<Logan> ::sheathes his claws:: Hmph... ::reflects on his first conversation with magneto::
<Kurt> ((Perhaps I shall get lucky and not run into any of the others..)) ::starts walking towards the living room::
<Barry> ::looks up from War and Peace, towards Kurt:: Hello there ::looks back down to his book::
<Emma`> I would think so too, Mr. Lensherr. ::She crosses her arms and shakes her head.:: I'm still trying to make my way around here. Trying to find distinguishing 'landmarks' in the castle here. Quite hard to do you know.
<Reynard> ::approaches the kitchen seeing someone leaving the other direction. But a nice cold soda occupies his mind. Carbonated Sugar Water, mmm-mmm::
<Kurt> ::stops in his tracks, looking over at Barry:: ..Uh.. guten tag..
<Barry> ::turns the page:: have you read War and Peace? It's a real page turner
<Erik> ::slightly amused look:: You might find it easier to simply remember that every corridor converges onto the grand entry.
<Kurt> No, I haven't.. ::starts towards another exit out of the living room, walking faster than normal::
<Barry> ::raises an eyebrow after he leaves:: he wasn't of the friendly sort ::continues reading::
<Emma`> So, if I should find myself in a large stone hallway I’ve found the grand hallway then? Hmm, sounds readily apparent Headmaster Lensherr. ::She pauses for the briefest of moments.:: However, I am … appreciative of your concern to my adjustment to Wundagore. ::Unlike the pervious tone in her voice, Emma sounds almost sincere before heading down the hall way once again.::
<Erik> ::frowns slightly, then shakes his head with a distracted air and resumes walking in the other direction::
<Kurt> ((...Outside. There shouldn't be anyone outside.)) ::takes another drink of his soda, going out the front door::
<Kurt> ::makes a beeline for some trees in the far distance, not really paying attention to where he's going::
<Emma`> ::Her heels click down the hall then she stops just at the door to see a modern looking room. She quickly turns to head inside the living room, her face a bit taken back.:: ((My, my, this place surprises me.)) ::She walks into the living room.::
<Erik> ::absently glances over his clipboard, frowning at some of the scrawled notes, then looks out the window, overlooking the grounds:: ((Perhaps Wanda will have better luck dealing with the children on a day to day basis...))
<Reynard> ::arrives at the fridge and grabs a random can of soda. He pops it open and down about half of it at once before exiting the kitchen and heading in a new direction, still humming merrily::
<Logan> ::sniffs, catching wind of kurt:: ((Kid's runnin' pretty hard. Wonder what from.)) ::tosses his shirt on and abandons his woodpile to stalk after kurt like a beast on the prowl::
<Kurt> ::jogs past a few trees, dropping the soda can on the ground:: ((Ach, it's been ages since I've exercised..))
<Emma`> ::She walks towards the couch and sits down on it, crossing her legs and stretching out feline-like. She then gives a side wise glance at Barry.::
<Logan> ::steadily stalking along behind kurt, not closing enough to be noticed as yet, spears the discarded can on a claw and then darts deeper into the woods intending to get ahead of and then intercept kurt::
<Kurt> ::slows down a bit, not really wanting to get too lost::
<Emma`> War and peace? ::Arches a eyebrow, looking at Barry's book.::
<Barry> ::looks up:: Indeed, it is a great book, have you read it?
<Logan> ::standing in the path a few yards ahead of kurt arms folded across his chest with the can in his hand:: What took you, kid? I been waiting here.
<Kurt> ::gives a start, slowing to a halt:: ..Was zum teufel!?
<Reynard> ::walks into the living room, glancing at the two already there. He pauses, soda can in hand now 1/4 full, for those keeping track::
<Logan> The name's Wolverine, kid. ::tosses him the can:: You dropped this.
<Barry> ::turns a page::
<Reynard> ::finishes off his drink and puts the can into a nearby waste basket and heads for the great outdoors for a walk around the grounds.::
<Kurt> ::reaches up to grab the can in a quick motion, starting almost suspiciously at Logan:: ...Right... ((...Why is there a hole in it?....))
<Emma`> I'm not familiar with the book.
<Barry> Perhaps I should lend it to you after I am finished, it will only take the rest of the day
<Logan> You're pretty far from the castle. Runnin' from something?
<Emma`> Rest of the day? ::Crosses her arms.::
<Barry> Indeed, im only halfway through it
<Emma`> I see..
<Kurt> ::his tail twists subconsciously as he straightens up slightly:: Just stretching my muscles, Herr 'Wolverine'.
<Logan> Ihr Englisch ist gut.
<Emma`> I haven't had much time for classics... ((How could he read it in one day?))
<Barry> It is a great book, you don't know what your missing ::goes back to reading::
<Kurt> ::blinks, taking a moment to reply:: Ich habe es für eine weile jetzt gesprochen.
<Emma`> What is it about?
<Logan> [[So, you gonna tell me what's wrong? I'm not gonna ask again, kid.]]
<Barry> It is a chronicle of Russia's struggle with Napoleon, simply, but really, it has much more depth.
<Reynard> ::walks around the castle/school's perimeter, enjoying the unspoiled majestic mountains::
<Emma`> Ah.
<Reynard> ::starts walking towards the surrounding forest, keeping the castle in sight at all time so as not to get lost::
<Barry> It is a record of the individuals involved, of the physical realities of human experience... in short, a complete portrait of human experience.
<Kurt> [[...It is becoming harder for me to find a quiet spot, that's all.]] ::starts to turn away:: [[I should be getting back.]]
<Barry> ::stands up and places his bookmark in the book and places the book on the table::
<Barry> It was a pleasure talking with you, but I must go complete a task I started earlier, if you wish to read War and Peace however, feel free
<Logan> Suit yourself, kid. ::watches kurt walk away::
<Kurt> ::crushing the soda can as he strides back in the direction of the school:: ((Some.. stranger, asking if I'm okay? Verdammt.. a waste of time..))
<Reynard> ::spots someone...blue? coming out of the forest and heading towards the school. Rey starts heading over to him:: ((Someone new to meet and greet))
<Kurt> ::doesn't notice Reynard, being preoccupied with his thoughts::
<Reynard> ::once he gets close enough to be heard reasonably well he calls out to the guy:: "Hello there!"
<Kurt> ::looks over at Reynard:: Ah.. hello?..
<Reynard> ::smiles as he approaches:: Nice day out, isn't it.
<Kurt> ..Yes.. though considerably less ruhig und friedlich than I thought..
<Reynard> ::pauses at the insertion of a different language:: I'm sorry, what was that?
<Kurt> Nevermind. ::looks Reynard over for a moment:: ..I should probably warn you.. there's an odd man wandering about the woods.
<Reynard> ::looks Kurt over as well:: Define 'odd'.
<Kurt> ::with a slight smirk:: Came out of nowhere and asked if I was okay. Like der giest.
<Reynard> ::gasps:: No! Really? That must have been horrible, how ever did you get away? ::completely joking tone..::
<Kurt> ::narrowing his eyes a bit, speaking sarcastically:: Was not easy, mein freund. I narrowly escaped with my life.
<Kurt> Now.. I must be going... ::*BAMF*::
<Reynard> Wow, so courageous... I shall keep a look out for this man you speak of.
<Reynard> ::Blink blink:: Uhm, bye, I guess...
